Graduated Jefferson Medical College Psychiatry Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Lived in Shaker Heights, OH where her three children were born. Moved to Voorhees in 1996 when she worked for Cooper Hospital and Virtua Hospital before entering private practice.
