Barry was born in the Bronx, NY. He met the love of his life in high school in Queens. He and Elaine raised their 2 children Donna and Bobby on Long Island. He was a loving husband for 68 years and a wonderful father, grandfather to Jordana (Michael), Andrew (Emily), David (Allie), Adam (Jackie) and Rachel. Great-grandfather to Parker, Harrison and Asher.
